Stabicraft has officially launched the 2024 Stabicrtaft 2050 Treker, a pocket-size trailerable adventure boat that should encourage owners to push new boundaries.
The Stabicrtaft 2050 Treker’s design is distinctively on brand, featuring much of the New Zealand-based chamber boat specialist’s DNA.
The new model is built around providing a comfortable and convenient interior, with an emphasis also on the hull’s on-water performance.
Stabicraft marketing general manager Daniel Upperton said the group was confident the 2050 Treker would set new standards in aesthetics, performance and ergonomics.
An opportunity was presented for Stabicraft Marine to design and manufacture a vessel in this size that lifts an entire marine category to a place where form and function become synonymous”.
“An opportunity was presented for Stabicraft Marine to design and manufacture a vessel in this size that lifts an entire marine category to a place where form and function become synonymous,” he said.
The 2050 Treker is built on the same hull as the 2050 Supercab, and was designed to take on one of the fastest-growing categories in the US – which makes the concept quite new to Australia.
The new model includes an optional fully enclosed canvas system that can easily transform from open-top to bimini to a fully enclosed space. The Stabicraft 2050 Treker features a wrap-around glass windscreen with a unique centre walk-through design that makes it easy to access the bow deck and a raised fishing platform.
The new model is also built to adapt to cooler, wetter climates, featuring an optional diesel heater to warm the space enclosed by the canvas sides. Jump seats behind the console face inboard and have storage bins built in below them.
Inside, the Stabicraft 2050 Treker features a full-beam console that maximises interior space and a large dashboard built to flush-mount up to a 12.0-inch multifunction touchscreen.
Standard features on the Stabicraft 2050 Treker include a forward anchor locker with a hinged lid; console footrest that acts as a cargo barrier; EVA flooring, comings, transom and bow deck; two-step rear boarding ladder; four stainless steel rod holders; a storage box under the port helm seat; hydraulic steering and a 200-litre underfloor fuel tank.
TheStabicraft 2050 Treker’s maximum performance is rated at 200hp.
Webbe Marine will have the Stabicraft 2050 Treker on show at the 2024 Sydney International Boat Show.
