Riviera has set the official date to launch its newest model, the Riviera 58 Sports Motor Yacht.
The new model was teased earlier this year at the 2023 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show as a model that Riviera’s customers had asked for. The new model will be unveiled at a special event at Riviera’s Coomera-based headquarters on Saturday, December 9.
The new bluewater model will include a range of Sports Motor Yacht staples including a swim deck-level cockpit, full walkaround side decks, a foredeck lounge, an all-weather alfresco deck, and a large saloon with an internal staircase to the fully enclosed flybridge and helm station.
Below, the new Riviera 58 SMY will have three staterooms including a full-beam master with the option of a breakfast bar and fridge, and three bathrooms, one of which will serve as the day head.
Aft of the master stateroom is a space that can become either a utility room to store water toys, fishing gear or diving equipment or as a crew quarters for those who want a bit more personalised comfort.
Riviera has a reputation for providing decent performance as part of the package, and the Riviera 58 Sports Motor yacht is no exception. It will be powered by twin 1000hp Volvo Penta D13 IPS 1350s as standard.
The new model joins the growing Riviera Sports Motor Yacht family that includes the 46, 50, 64 and flagship 72 launched earlier this year.
The Riviera 58 SMY will make its US debut at February’s 2024 Miami International Boat Show before going on display at March’s Palm Beach International Boat Show.
The boat’s launch event will be live-streamed on Riviera's social media channel from 9pm AEST on December 9.
