Riviera has launched its newest model, the Riviera 46 Sports Motor Yacht, filling an important gap in its growing range of acclaimed bluewater cruisers.
The new model, a flybridge version of the 465 SUV launched earlier this year, measures just over 15 metres with the bowsprit and swim platform, but with a waterline of 14.3 metres.
Below decks, the new model features three suites including a master in the bow, and the choice in the aft accommodations of four singles – great for those who wish to have family onboard – or twin singles and a double for those who like to invite guests along.

Two ensuites are provided, with one doubling as a shared bathroom for the aft suites, and as a day head.
Outdoor spaces include the forward sunbed and a daybed built into the cockpit. The flybridge also has a daybed to create a third zone optimised for relaxation.
The Riviera 46 Sports Motor Yacht uniquely features a flybridge with an aft helm station, offset to starboard. The deck-level staircase to the bridge deck is in the aft section of the saloon.
The new model’s saloon includes a galley to starboard that faces onto the mezzanine level protected overhead by the bridge deck, an L-shaped lounge to starboard, and a dinette to port. Big windows line both sides of the saloon.
Outside, the saloon opens up to a large semi-enclosed mezzanine deck overlooking the lower cockpit. The space comes with its own table for the port lounge, and a large hatch provides access to the engine room below.
The cockpit, semi-shaded by an awning extending from the bridge deck, features a grille and wet bar, with two doors opening to the swim platform aft.
The hard-topped open flybridge deck sets the Riviera 46 Sports Motor Yacht apart from other models in Riviera’s line-up.
The twin-seat aft helm station has direct access to the stairs leading to the saloon below, giving the skipper easy access to the lower deck. The helm features dual multifunction touchscreens, space overhead for electronics such as a VHF radio, and two comfortable seats for the skipper and first mate.
Beside the helm is a wet bar, while forward is a large dinette to starboard with a drop-down table that allows it to convert into a day bed, and a forward-facing chaise lounge to port.
Both the flybridge and mezzanine can be fully enclosed in clears to create more weather-protected living space onboard.
No pricing has yet been released for the new Riviera 46 Sports Motor yacht, which will have its US debut at February’s Miami boat show.
