Melbourne-based fibreglass trailer boat specialist Revival will drop what is expected to be one of the biggest surprises at this year’s Sydney International Boat Show – an all-new flagship stretching almost 8.0 metres.
The new model is called the Revival OS 760 HT and features a 300hp Mercury ProXS V8 outboard engine. The new model sits above the former Revival flagship, the R640.
The new model will be the highlight of the TR MarineWorld stand at the show, which opens its doors to the public tomorrow.
The Revival OS 760 HT is the second new model from the brand, following on from the 175hp-rated 5.8-metre centre console, called the XC-Console, that was officially launched in March.
Revival Boats founder Sam Catanese told boatsales the new offshore hard top model was developed in-house “from scratch”.
This first boat off the production line sits on a Dunbier dual-axle trailer, with the entire boat, motor and trailer package weighing in at less than 3500kg, even with a full tank of fuel onboard.
Few other details about the new model are available ahead of its official launch tomorrow, although images posted on TR MarineWorld’s social media give us some insights into the boat.
Of note, the carbonfibre-look console in front of the skipper is wide enough to mount twin Simrad multifunction screens side-by-side with plenty of room to mount marine radios and audio systems, with a marine radio already mounted on the hardtop.
Both captain’s chairs behind the console sit on frames that will allow storage or ice boxes to slide in beneath them.
A full-height lockable door leads to the cuddy cabin.
The floor is finished in customised rubber, while aft are what appears to be a live bait tank fronting a full-height transom separating the engine pod from the cockpit. Two jump seats are to either side, while a pull-out storage bucket features another seat covering it.
The cockpit is fitted with padded coamings and deep side pockets that are slightly raised off the floor to allow people to come right up to the side of the boat.
Up front, the anchor with what looks like an electric windlass sits on a bowsprit.
The showpiece, though, is that hardtop, which features eight rod holders spread across it.
TR MarineWorld’s display is inside ICC Sydney at Stand 104.
The 2023 Sydney International Boat Show runs from August 3-6.
