2023 Prestige F4 locks in Cannes Yachting Festival debut

The new 15.2-metre model, the first in the F-Line of third-generation flybridge cruisers, is built to make the most of a French Riviera climate, with plenty of outdoor living space and indoor environments that can isolate from the heat of the day.

And if the Prestige F4 is any guide, the new line of boats will be heavily design-driven inside using features such as natural stone – not something you’d expect on a boat – sculpted woodwork and wicker.

Outside, the beamy, private island-themed Prestige F4 will use softened lines and curves to create a modern, contemporary look that evolves rather than revolutionises flybridge motor yacht design.

The images show the boat is also fitted with a passarelle – used as a walkway between the boat and shore when, in the usual European way, the Prestige F4 has docked transom-in – that can double as a diving board when at anchor.

The Prestige F4’s performance will come from a pair of 480hp Volvo Penta D6 turbo-diesel engines driving IPS 650 pod drives, giving the hull exceptional manoeuvrability no matter what the speed.

The cruising speed is expected to be around 22 knots, with 1300 litres of onboard fuel delivering a decent range.

Below decks, the Prestige F4 features three staterooms with accommodations for six people, and the option of a single crew quarters accessed via the transom.

The Cannes Yachting Festival will run from September 12-17.
