Malibu Australia has taken delivery of the new moulds that will soon become the new-for-2021 Malibu WakeSetter 23LSV.
The Albury, NSW-based boat builder posted a short video on social media yesterday showing the moulds being unloaded from the truck that delivered them to the factory door.
The delivery included two hulls – buyers of the 2021 Malibu WakeSetter 23LSV will still be able to choose between the Wake Plus pro-level wake performance hull or the Diamond Hull suited to a mix of tow and wake sports – and the new topdeck.
The first of the new hulls is expected to roll out of Malibu Australia in about October, with work to start production of the first hull expected to take place in the next few weeks.
The WakeSetter 23LSV is one of only a number of new-for-2021 models expected from Malibu before the end of the year
The boat-maker has locked in August 15 as the date for a number of as-yet-unspecified new model announcements, one of which is expected to be the all-new 2021 Axis Wake Research A24 launched in the US earlier this month.
The Axis Wake Research A24 is expected to be offered in Australia as an imported model.
