2020 Haines Signature 640F revealed
An all-new Haines Signature 640F joins the Queensland fibreglass boat brand's showroomQueensland-based Haines Group has revealed the all-new Haines Signature 640F, the newest addition to the fibreglass and leisure boat maker and the spiritual replacement for the highly popular Haines Signature 602F.
The Haines Signature 640F joins the Haines Signature line-up, filling the role as a “versatile, family-friendly fishing boat loaded with new and exciting features”.
“In the past, the 602F has been one of our most popular boats, which was overdue to be reimagined,” Haines Group chief executive John Haines said.
“This paved the way for the concept of the 640F.
“Derived from the 602F, we ensured that the new 640F included all of the existing features, but incorporated feedback from our valued customers and dealers, taking this boat to the next level,” Haines said.
One of the key areas of focus for the new Haines Signature 640F was range, with the new model fitted with a 226-litre underfloor fuel tank – that’s a 25 per cent improvement over the model it supersedes.
That fuel tank will feed an outboard engine rated up to 225hp, with the higher power limit yielding better fuel economy, range, handling and performance, Haines Group said.
Cosmetic improvements include a redesigned dash that will now take up to a 16-inch touchscreen – Haines Group is celebrating this by fitting the Haines Signature 640F with a Simrad chartplotter/sounder, VHF radio, a JL Audio system and a dual-battery system with a voltage sensor relay all fitted as standard.
Key options include a fully enclosed hardtop with a sizable roof hatch for great airflow and all-weather protection, and a lockable sliding cabin door to keep gear is secure.
Another option sure to sway buyers is a best-in-class pocket mounted, dual-frequency transducer moulded into the hull, giving the ability to “read the bottom and mark fish with incredible clarity in depths to 1200m”.
The boat was launched virtually to buyers earlier this week.
Pricing for the Haines Signature 640F will start from $78,658 for a boat, motor and trailer package that includes a 140hp Suzuki DF140ATX and Dunbier dual-axle trailer, and including Queensland registration and Brisbane dealer delivery.
Haines Signature boats are covered by a 10-year structural and two-year parts warranty.
