High-end motor yacht brokerage eyachts has taken delivery of the 100th European-styled Axopar sold in Australia – the brand’s all-new flagship, the Axopar 37 Revolution.
The all-new Axopar 37 Sun-Top is the first of a new generation of “Revolution” 37-foot day boats from the four-year-old Finnish brand. The boat features Mercury outboard engine power and an all-new hull improving on what was already renowned as one of the best all-around hull designs on the market.

“If you told someone back then that day boats would be as popular as they are now they wouldn’t have believed you,” eyachts managing director Peter Hrones said.
“However, I could see that people would learn to love these type of boats, well before their time,” he said. “I knew people would want the ease of maintenance and a versatile boat with the ability to go offshore whale watching, visit waterfront restaurants or simply enjoy time out of the water with the family whether you are fishing, wakeboarding or just anchored in a secluded bay or beach having a picnic and watching the world go by.
Hrones said the Axopar range offered “something for everyone in a cool simplistic package”.
“I am so proud of how far Axopar have come so quickly and this is thanks to our proud but also very enthusiastic Axopar owners feedback and a young Axopar team that listens,” he said.
Boat No.100 is currently based at eyachts’ Gold Coast dealership – its Australian premiere was to have featured at the now postponed 2020 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show – with private tours available.
Eyachts Queensland manager Rowan McMahon said the redesigned hull had lived up to its reputation during water tests.
“We took it offshore, we did everything this boat’s supposed to do and I can definitely attest this boat handles like a dream,” McMahon said.
“It distinctively runs a lot more bow down. It drives differently to the Series 1,” he said.
“We hit 53 knots. It was phenomenal and there’s still going to be a little bit more in there once the engines break in.”
Eyachts said it had already pre-sold four Axopar 37 Revolutions ahead of the Australian debut, and for the first time it had completely sold out of stock on hand – including the Sanctuary Cove showpiece, which was sold to its new Sydney buyer 10 days after arriving here.
The Axopar 37 Revolution range is made up of three separate models – buyers can choose between an open-topped Spyder, hard-topped Sun-Top and enclosed pilothouse Cross Cabin.
The first Cross Cabin model is due in Australia later this month, eyachts said.
