2018 Four Winns bowriders and sportscruisers

Nine new 2018 Four Winns models with outboard power and Forward Drive making a bigger showing

An established U.S. boatbuilder of 40 years, Four Winns was the creation Bill Winn and his three sons Charlie, Bill Jr and John. Once the third-largest boat manufacturer in America, producing more than 15,000 boats a year, Four Winns joined the giant Beneteau Group in 2014 as part of its Rec Boats’ acquisition.

Beneteau is now gearing up Four Winns to expand the boats’ presence in the U.S., Europe and other export markets. There are four ranges of boats between 18 and 37 feet, mainly in bowrider configurations, with larger sportscruisers wearing the Vista-model badge.

The popular Horizon bowrider series has 10 models from 18 to 29-foot including two new boats in 2018. The HD range of wider beam deckboats spans eight models from 20 to 27-feet. And there are the six Surf models including four new debuts in 2018.

The five-strong Vista range from 25 to 37 feet, including a new 2018 model, are the sportscruiser with accommodation. A new Vista 255 outboard was recently launched at the Nautic boat show in Paris.

Beneteau is pitching all these boats as having hot American performance, coupled with finishes more in line with top European boats. Hand-stitched upholstery, stainless steel windscreen frames and deck fittings, and plenty of storage are hallmarks.

While maintaining its sterndrive offerings, Four Winns says it will roll out more Forward Drive technology on its HD sports range in 2018, while continuing to expand its outboard range via the new H290, H350 and Vista 255... in keeping with global trends.

At the same time, a much-awaited brand-new model, the HD200, will be launched with outboard and sterndrive engine options and enlarged swim platforms.

Although the boats are mainly sold on the North American market, the brand has big ambitions for Europe, spearheaded by the group’s powerful network of dealers.

Similarly, we have new Four Winns dealers in Australia, with the Yacht Brokerage in Hope Harbour on the Gold Coast recently getting behind the brand in a big way. Sydney Powerboat Centre remains the longest-serving Australia Four Winns dealer.

Collectively, between second-hand and new models, we have more than 180 Four Winns listed for sale on our sites.
