The best in the West
The huge Club Marine Mandurah Boat Show was held in October with 600 boats displayed on dry stands and 175 in water, viewed by 21,000 people. The boats on dry stands are trailerboats while on-water displays have the majority of the big boats. Either way, it’s a chance to dream, check out an amazing choice of boats and to plan for the next boat.
Companies made steady sales and of course, there's the 'after effect' when people go to dealers to upgrade some weeks later. With no shortage of WA manufacturers, one trailerboat company told TrailerBoat they sold three at the show, making it worthwhile for both the supplier and new owners.
Non-stop family entertainment ran throughout the show, including Aussie adventurer Malcolm Douglas cooking at the Club Marine stand with resident chef Bart Beek and fashion parades on the Yamaha main stage. The Mandurah show, like other boat shows around Australia, is great value to research and buy accessories or even the new boat.
